Theramyr (Ther ah mer)
Theramyr is a bastard sword forged during Emperor Averon's reign to be used by then Prince Imperial, Moonshadow by the same people responsible for creating Nyr'Zaelin and Z'Avenzesh (with the exception of the late Emperor Zarionel). Intended to be used in place of the twin blades, it bears many similarities to them. It was not passed down as dual wielding is a much more common martial form amongst night elves and was not used in ceremonies as Nyr'Zaelin and Z'Avenzesh were, instead entombed with its master with the understanding that if another of the Royal Line developed the same martial skills, they would then inherit Theramyr.
Theramyr will harm incorporeal creatures and is good aligned, doing holy damage to evil. This also affects its wielder, should someone with a dark heart try to wield it. Like Nyr'Zaelin, it is enchanted to disrupt arcane energy for up to five minutes in a 100ft radius. It takes 24 hours to recharge.
Upon Theramyr are four large emeralds, two smaller emeralds and two royal sapphires. The emeralds are known to enhance psychic abilities, open clairvoyance, and stimulate the use of greater mental capacity. They bring awareness of the unknown to conscious recognition, imparting reason and wisdom. Emeralds assists in inciting activity and focus in ones actions, strengthen memories and impart clarity of thought. They also inspire a deep inner knowing, promoting truth and discernment. Sapphire is said to be the wisdom stone, stimulating concentration, enhancing creativity and promoting purity and depth of thought, focusing and calming the mind as well as helping to remove unwanted thoughts, depression and mental tension.
