Soulmates have existed since first recorded history, probably earlier, as well as the reincarnation of souls. A person is now a jegna. Two matched soulmates are a jegtee. And, rarely, a group of jegnas that are all soulmates are a jegguwee.   Unless, of course, you’re talking about the most famous jegguwee ever, the Guwee with a capital G. The Guwee are a group of four souls that are always reincarnated as soulmates and each reincarnation makes history in its own way. Their names always start with L, P, R, and V. Logical, Paternal, Romantic, and Vigilant.   When the Retatios (Mesopotamian equivalent) first described the world around them, they talked of their wondrous three kings and queen. Lowgokun, Patseln, Romequa, and Virifem the Almighties were the first recorded example of royalty and what an impression they made on historians. They stayed with the Retatios for the first few hundred years before making appearances on each of the continents.   At first, the historians were baffled. How did each continent and religion have an example of these four rulers, every time with the same starting letters and qualities, every time soulmates? Even reincarnation, proven at the time, wasn’t this exact. They stuck with an easy-to-remember name. The Guwee. Naturally the Guwee resurfaced that decade, made popular by the fact that they were all beautiful singers and actors and pulsates.   It’s become a game, of sorts, to predict who will be the next Guwee. The fact that any of them could be any gender makes it harder. The fact that they didn’t become as famous the last two lifetimes only makes it even harder. But this time...they’ll change the world so unrecoverably, history will have no option but to remember them.
