The Astral Sea begins to coalesce, and from within it singular consciousnesses reach out. Purpose gives rise to form, and the Outer Planes begin to take shape.
The gods, now actualized, begin to exert their influence from their pieces of the universe that they have claimed. The elemental and divine energy of the Outer Planes begins to escape the confines of their infinite geometry. This energy, raw and unshaped, forms the Inner Planes, namely the Elemental Planes of Fire, Earth, Air, and Water, and the Planes of Positive and Negative Energy.
The Inner Planes become full with the energy from the Outer Planes, and begin to bleed towards each other. Where the planes interact, a plane in the center of all energy forms, the Prime Material Plane. The plane that will come to be the chessboard of the gods.
The elves materialize from raw magical energy. Some elect to stay in the Feywild, where they become known as the Eladrin. Others cross the planar barriers to the Prime Material, where they start to settle and build cities.

A massive counter offensive led by Lord Jasper Esselion fails to regain more than a few miles of territory in the south. Lord Jasper Esselion is killed and is succeeded by his younger brother Reynold Esselion. This failure is not forgotten by the people.
Orcish hordes continue to rape and pillage, with the bulk of the forces splitting up into hundreds of different warbands. The death toll rises to the hundreds of thousands.
Representatives of the races with significant military forces meet in Raemon in a summit. In what would later be known as “The Vow”, the dwarves, gnomes (both deep and forest), elves and humans agree to an alliance in order to prevent their imminent end.
“The Grand Army” a force of troops consisting of all the races of The Vow sorties deep into orcish territory, breaking the nearly 2 year siege of Blackhold.
After five more years of fighting, allied forces push the orcs back to the Stoneshield Mountains. The orcs begin fielding impressive magical weapons that are uncharacteristic of the brutish beings, but it ultimately proves too little too late.
The orcish hordes are all but defeated. However, casualties are substantial among all races. In a second summit, later known as “The Summit of Victory” it is decided that “The Vow” is to be kept in place as a benefit to all the races of Reiyend. More than 75 years of peace and prosperity follow.

In a plea to House Bellator, the House of Malkier is granted stewardship over the newly formed “Vasselage of Taenarin” in exchange for fealty to House Bellator and regular payments of gold.
A strange green-tailed comet is seen in the sky, coincidently marking the birth of the heir to House Bellator, Galerius Malerian Dekovari Bellator.
A devastating plague spreads like wildfire across Reiyend, known as "The Bleeding Sickness". The church of the Dawnfather grows to epic proportion in the crisis, and people shun the development of alchemical cures in favor of divine intervention.
