Ravensburg (RAH-vens-buhrg)

Ravensburg is a town built atop a ravine, for which it gets its name. It used to be the forefront of the mining industry, the place from which anyone who's anyone got their metals from. That was forty years ago. Since then, the town has fallen into disrepair, and a perpetual fog has rolled in, obscuring it from direct view. Rumors about the town are plenty, and among them all there is one unanimous parallel: that there is still treasure in the mines, a treasure so valuable that it caused the people there to go insane. The more greedy and less intelligent of travelers venture there, and those that return do so empty-handed. Other rumors suggest that the fog is linked with the mine, or that some terrible artifact was unearthed, cursing the whole town above. Others still speculate on the possibility of people still living in the town. One farmer from the nearby area reported seeing a shadowy figure, cloaked in the mist. Whatever the case, Ravensburg remains the
"Town Shrouded in Myth and Mystery".
