Regalia

From the Celestial Veil above came the First Dragon, Her scales of brilliant colors that streaked across the sky. As She landed within the sea, Her body took form, built of pure, wild magic itself, spiraling forth to form Her in all Her glory. She was born from that of another world and our own, and She, looking down upon us all as though Her children, was our guardian and protector.   She was the Mother Dragon, Besirius.   From Her, She spawned the First Eight Dragons. From the First Eight came the draconic beings that spread across the world, guardians of sapient life, and protectors of us.   From the First Eight came Unandren - the Liar, the Betrayer, the Voidfather. He slaughtered His brother and consumed his flesh, and with bloodied fangs and claws, He called Himself the Lord of the Eternal Sun. With a newfound Godhood and suffused with the Void, Unandren, too, bore Corrupted Children of His own, mirroring the living Children of the Mother alive.   Since the birth of His children, the Father and the Mother have warred timelessly and eternally, like the cycle between the moon and sun.   And they always will, for what God can truly die?
