Classes of Spacecraft

Class I Spacecraft

This beats walking. Class I spacecraft are designed for quick movement over planet surfaces. Rovers, speeder bikes, and scooters fall into this category.   This includes mechanical/valkyrie wings.  

Range

Equivalent to a horse...~100 miles a day  

Class II Spacecraft

These are used for transport within a solar system. A clear step up from a class II spacecraft while on the planet's surface.   

Range

These are equivalent to a griffon...~200 miles a day  

Class III Spacecraft

These liners are capable of interstellar travel. Of the known crafts capable of Class III travel, all are self contained systems, to include self-sufficient political and economical systems.   These spacecraft are designed with engines capable of FTL travel. They can traverse unbelievable distances and most commonly used to berth class II ships. They have docks designed to hold the class II ships, and a small room attached. Passengers use their ship's amenities while enjoying the luxury of additional space on longer voyages. In the event of an emergency, the class II ship can be used as a personal escape pod.
