A Change of Pace

For this adventure, players will be given character sheets with a few abilities filled out. They'll be instructed to cross X abilities out. They'll then be requested to 1) build it or 2) raid an unreached clan. Drop in hints of identity:  The Yellow Fang banner in your hands...you stake it into the ground.     The results of this will influence a future encounter and serve to have introduced the regiment before hand. As the players begin noticing a Yellow Fang banner, they should regret playing as well as they did as the bad guys.    2) Did the players embrace the role of the horde? Reward the horde "splinter." Make them part of the myth legend. Not only did they do well, but they are given something extra. The players will know this and be afraid of encountering them.   3) Did the players completely blow it off and try to undermine the horde? Vorskar was not pleased. This Horde Splinter was punished in a way that becomes myth/legend. This punishing happens during the adventure, so the players know which Splinter is being raised to power. Further on, name drop hints they would recognize. The Ragged Cloak took them by the scruff of the neck and hurled them over the ramparts. Some were taken for camp servants.   As the players resume their roles say, "You notice a banner with a Yellow Fang/Ragged Cloak protruding from the ground outside the village...   Now we know a little bit about the enemy, and have proper reason to be afraid.
