Spawn

The bi product of God Beast and any other life form, Spawn form the brunt of the threat that Perina's citizens face on a daily basis. Varying in form, spawn always develop physical characteristics that blend the form of it's parent God Beast, Any Human conscience that the parent may have absorbed, and the other life form (usually an animal of some sort). The resulting monster is always crazed and obsessively violent, seeking essence from the closest non mutated life form it can find. Spawn that are the result of a human conscience blending with a God Beast become "Den Mothers" and can radiate corruption to any pure life form near by which warps the creature's form to match it's own in addition to absorbing enough essence to produce smaller copies of itself. These Den Mother's tend to haunt places that have a lot of ambient Essence and lure people to them in order to either corrupt, kill, or terrify them into returning with help to then kill or corrupt later.
