Prelaron: The nation of Orcs

This is the homeland of a large concentration of the Orcs . Due to the combat prowess of its people, this nation is usually left alone by possible rivals, though many have tried and failed to wage war with Prelaron. The geography of the island is what inspired the banner of Prelaron. The island is in the form of a crescent, with a smaller island within the crescent. The nation of Prelaron is on the opposite side of The Skag (the primal untamed wilderness) in relation to the three other major factions of Reamodell. In order to help keep the monsters of The Skag at bay, a large wall lays on the border of their inland territory. The nation has a long-standing rivalry with the Bloodthroat Orc Clan due to The Division of the Bloodthroats and the formation of Prelaron. While the nation has a majority of the population is Orcs, many have found a home here. Goliaths in particular have settled here in mass, and due to this the Half-Orc Goliath. was brought into the world, a product of the Goliaths integration into Prelaron's society. This nation's culture places a high value on being skilled and being the best you can be at anything you try. This is a remnant of the rough and tumble lifestyle the ancestors of Prelaron had to live before they left The Skag as a result of The Division of the Bloodthroats and the formation of Prelaron.. This manifests in combat, craftsmanship, poetry, and anything else they get their hands on. This dedication is part of what attracted Goliaths during The Arrival of the Goliaths.
