Canid

This article is original content by RoW authors.

Physical Description

Canids’ appearance is extremely varied. While there are trends that discern the many subspecies, variance within these groups in pattern and build can still be vast. The only feature that all Canids share is their bipedal doglike appearance.

History

Canids trace their ancestry to a people of wolflike creatures from the Banished Realm. They were originally one uniform race that had established societies within this realm. After the Cataclysm took a toll on its population and their kind was at risk of being subjugated by other races within the realm, they convened with Entity of the Stars and were granted a gift: freedom to disperse across Nidus, leaving their old form behind and adapting to the various Nidian climates as completely new subspecies.
