Realms of Tehai

The Realms of Tehai are a Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition campaign setting that are heavily influenced by both real-world history and the myths of the Forgotten Realms. Building upon the vast amount of material that both provide, this world space is primarily used for the mega-dungeon campaign Depths of Depravity. The events of this campaign creates the building blocks for using the world as an all-encompassing D&D setting. The world as it stands before the events of the "Depths of Depravity" campaign is locked in a constant cycle of death and rebirth as the very land struggles to reconstruct itself every half a millennium. Every time, a devastating plague erupts from the bowels of the earth and proceeds to wipe out nearly all life on the planet, only stopped by what few brave survivors can muster the strength to seal it away once more. Currently, the world stands on the edge of its own Renaissance of art, technology, and magic. Despite the grim dawn that approaches, kingdoms war with each other and threaten the stability of all the realms. The dreaded year 500 approaches once more, and the only thing standing in its way is a little bureaucratic adventurer's guild, in the city of Wenex.
