The Thorny Owls

The Thorny Owls are a Blood Ball team consisting of large Aarakocra knights and Elf runners, though previously they have also had Drow and even Goblin players in their team. The Thorny Owls rely on controlling the Dead Zone through arcane means through growing vines and entangling weeds to hinder their opponents ability to traverse the pitch. Their knights also use their flight to their advantage, taking to the air for an areal assault on opponent runners entering their zone and flying the barrel out of reach for one of their runners to collect. Their armour is carved from wood with moss grown over the outer plates to allow players to camouflage among their grown foliage as well as showing their team colours of green and brown.
