The Sabreteeth

The Sabreteeth are a Blood Ball team combining speed and aggression in their very offensive strategy. Their team comprises of three Tabaxi runners, a lizardfolk runner and two bugbear knights defending the back line. taking inspiration from predatory beasts of Winval, the Sabreteeth chase down opponents pouncing on them to gain the upper hand. Their armour is relatively light weight to not hinder their movement when attacking and is painted half and half in their team colours of white purple. Members of the Sabreteeth also wear helemts made from the skulls of large beasts as a form of intimidation tactics.

History

Before 2976 the team comprised entirely of Tabaxi. This is because an act was passed in 2976 allowing any intelligent humanoid race to compete in the blood ball tournament which meant that bugbears and lizardfolk could now compete, an opportunity previously unavailable to them. The addition of Bugbears to the team composition really helped out the Sabreteeth as before the act they had really fell short when it came to defence.
