Personal history

Mu was born in the ruined city of Gustireth in 2849 ASO, the year of the most recent war between the forces of the deity Torm and the demon lord Bane. As the war raged in the city around them, Mu's parents hid her in their basement within a large barrel in hopes she would not be found by the evil minions of Bane and would survive the battle's destructive path. meanwhile in the city above, knights clashed and slaughtered one and other, burning away the forests and trees that surrounded the city so that none may hide from their wrath. It's still to this day unknown which side was first to start this destruction of nature.
When the battle had been won by the demonic knights of Bane, an engulfing darkness blocked out the sun, casting shadows over them. A strong wind echoed through the broken city bringing the soldiers to their knees as a voice of many tones and pitches called out to them. The sound shattered their eardrums and left them deafened as vines reached from the earth like a kraken's tentacles dragging a ship below the waves. The Elder God Worthe had reclaimed the land for nature.
Moss began sprouting from the ruins of the city at an accelerated rate and thorny vines began sprouting up from between the cobbled streets. Suddenly, a quiet, panicked wail grabbed Worthe's attention, originating from below what was now becoming a large oak tree. Curious, Worthe gazed deep between the roots of the oak and saw a small child wrapped in vines.
Because of her age, Mu was able to look at Worthe's face without being driven mad. Charmed by this child who had also fell victim to the same war Worthe had,they recoiled the vines and lifted Mu from the rubble. Though the infant was still young, Worthe saw potential and a common understanding and so chose to help guide the child on the agreement that they would go forth and defend Worthe's dominion in exchange for great power.
When Mu reached the age of 100, Worthe formed a stone mask from the ground below and gifted it to Mu, telling her that if she is to become Worthe's hand on earth she must too be faceless like her God, and that she is to always wear the mask and let no one but her most trusted allies ever see the face beneath it.

Religious Views

Mu's patron is the Elder God Worthe. Being the god of nature and keeper of balance, Worthe's devotees are obliged to maintain nature and the natural order of the world. Refusing help or ignoring threats to the natural world of Winval is considered sinful and will weaken a followers connection to Worthe thus diluting their power.
