Fianna

An isolated village located deep within the mountains in the North of Winval. The inhabitants of Fianna live in close proximity with nature and wildlife. All inhabitants are vegetarian and are against the idea of using animals for work or even keeping them as pets as they believe all living things are completely equal, this belief is derived from Fianna's main religion The Friends of Gerome

Demographics

The vast majority of Fianna's inhabitants are high elves, however there are a number of residents who found themselves lost in the wilderness and were taken in by the kind populous of this small village.

Government

Fianna's religion, The Friends of Gerome is deeply integrated into it's government system and as such, the religious leaders of the village are also the village leaders and most powerful people within the society. This position is currently held by Ophelia Dawn but was previously held by her brother Ophelius. There is also a council of elders which are able to over-rule the leader's decisions should they wish and hold a majority.

Industry & Trade

Because Fianna is entirely self sufficient, growing all of it's own food and making it's own clothing, the people find they have alot of spare time which over the years has evolved to create a very rich arts industry within this small town. Many of the inhabitants engage in hobbies such as painting, sculpting and acting, putting on bi-annual plays to bring the community together.

Fianna is a settlement dating back to before The Split of Olkvast as shown in ancient cave paintings dating back as early as 300 BSO
