Bartrum Mordere

Bartrum is a human outlander who as a child was infected with the disease Lycanthropy turning him into an 8' wolf in the light of the full moon. In recent years however with the help of Sansa Tenebris he has been able to maintain control both as beast and man through a cocktail of chemicals devised by her. He is a long time friend of King Heinrich Rotezunge, Claudius White and Killian Hazel.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

When in his human form, Bartrum displays all the physical characteristics of someone who hasn't slept in a few days. His eyes have almost permanent bags underneath them. His manner is weak as the regular transforming and lack of sleep for years has taken it's toll on him physically. Despite this appearance he is still stronger than the average man and has heightened senses due to his condition. He also has round burn scars on the palms of his hands from accidentally handling silver.

Personal history

Bartrum contracted lycanthropy at the age of ten when he was attacked by a werewolf whilst playing in the woods around his home town of Wulfhelm. On the night of the next full moon, he transformed and went to attack his brother in his sleep. Their father burst in with a crossbow and chased the wolf into the woods, locking him out of his old life.
Cold and alone running through the woods, Bartrum was found by King Heinrich Rotezunge, the Vampire king who had been approaching the town to hunt. Heinrich took a shining to the child, seeing himself as a martyr to the monsters and freaks of the world who had been shunned by society. And so Heinrich brought him to the Rotezunge Castle grounds where he lived for eight years, running free through the woods and learning to maintain control of his 'gift' as Heinrich called it.
Once he had reached the age of eighteen Bartrum left the castle, thanking Heinrich for everything he had done for him over the last eight years. He now lives in the wilderness as man and beast, free and alive as can be.
