Biru

Biru is half halfling, half human. His mother was from Selannius, while his father is from Fyor. His parents met at a festival in Selannius, where is father managed to impress his mother with his musical skills. Biru was born in Selannius, but his parents decided to move back to Fyor when he was 7 for the improved safety and stability. When he was 18, his parents accidentally ended up pregnant again despite having no intentions of having another child. His little sister was born when he was 19, but his mother died in childbirth. Heartbroken, he looked at his baby sister and saw his mother's eyes. In that moment, he swore to protect her in every way possible, and was the absolute best possible big brother. His father went on two years later to remarry, giving Biru a stepfather. The two men do an incredible job of raising the baby girl, so Biru decided it was time for him to begin adventuring. He first travelled back to Selannius, to reconnect with his roots and to research the song that has been tickling his mind since he learned music. He ended up encountering an evil witch who stole his ability to hear, but he was not deterred. He went on to become absolutely prolific in his musical abilities, making decent coin as a travelling bard. His research eventually led him back to Fyor, and Drew him towards the peak. He was in the jungle of Mt Fyor, attempting to reach the peak, continuously getting lost, when he was surprised by the party. He fell out of a tree from 60 feet and promptly died. He returned to the world as a ghost, not knowing the reason why. Though he felt he had some level of unfinished business, it was certainly not intense or dedicated enough to pass off the afterlife for it. Currently he seeks to return his coin to his family and hopes this will be what he needs to pass on.
