Veins of the World

The Veins of the World are a series of tunnels and caves that stretch throughout the world. There is no dedicated entrance nor is their any rhyme or reason to what can be found in the Veins. It is entirely possible to find things from the past or future, or even things that never existed. Escape is difficult without magic, with the only reliable method being to cause enough harm to the veins itself, causing them to forcibly eject you. Deep within the veins are multiple massive beating hearts, responsible for sustaining and controlling the veins. People who die in the veins will receive no afterlife, as the beating hearts will consume their soul.
