The Greed Dragons

Greed dragons are black with green undertones. Contrary to their name, greed dragons are not particularly greedy, especially by the standards of other dragons. They got their name, because they must have a hoard worth certain values during milestones of their life or they will perish. Greed dragons are actually friendly creatures and try to avoid killing other creatures if they can help it. To help with this fact, instead of exhaling fire or acid or any other damaging element, greed dragons exhale a powerful paralytic gas that allows them to remove threats without killing them.
Greed dragons typically employ two main methods for protecting their hoard. Some greed dragons live in groups, helping each other protect there hoard. Greed dragons that either live solo or have a large amount of magic items in their hoard might choose to instead, consume their hoard and use the latent magic of the hoard to effectively convert themselves into a dragon sized bag of holding.
