Rules of magic

On Rawath, magic is not restrained by hard defined spells, but is rather restrained by the casters creativity. it is by this principle that necromancy is not considered an evil magic, but is rather commonly used to provide assistance to farmers or rich households. Blood magic however, is considered highly illegal and is punishable by death. The reason for this is necromancy relies on the dead to be already dead, blood magic requires a fresh sacrifice with every spell and takes a forcible toll on the caster. Arcane magic is often considered the most pure form of magic, but is often intermixed with other elements for easier casting.
