Carriages for Hire

Many marvels fills the world of Ravnica, from the restaurants floating high in the air above the streets, to the Cult of Radokos death defying performances. But hidden in the glory and splendor of these bigger than life creations and acts, are the everyday wonders that make life a little easier for the citizens of the Tenth District.
Carriages, large and small, flow throughout the various Precincts, filled with passengers from every race and Guild found within Ravnica. Some are elegant wonders, crafted from carved wood and stone. Others seem to have been birthed from nightmares, a creation of black and bone. And others are metal constructions that could only come from the minds of the Izzet League. Each Guild and Precinct in the Tenth District have their own ideas of what the perfect carriage should be, and as such, the streets have become a small example of Ravnica at large.
Assigned to each Precinct, a citizen can hire a carriage to either take them to any locations inside that Precinct, or to a designated building connecting to another Precinct, where they can continue their journey. At a more affordable fee than the airships, many citizens chose to take a longer journey to get to their destination, for the much cheaper price.
Besides the type of the carriages themselves, the creatures that pull the carriages are also unique. Suited to each Precinct, and the layout of the streets, each creature has been carefully chosen to make the smoothest ride possible, while also making the biggest statement. Although if you find yourself in the 4th Precinct looking for a carriage, you might find yourself pulled by a creation out of the labs of the Izzet League, taking you wherever you need to go.
