Start of the Trail

Jack received a letter waiting for him at the Rock Bottom Barrel inn. The letter talks of some incorrect history between the two, but a secret message is hidden within the letter, which reads "BERLEBEN".

Lucius Lynch

Lucius was an old friend of Tryst's from their teenage years, before she had met anyone in her current gang. The two of them caused some trouble together, but as a pair of tieflings they were often suspected of criminal activity, which made it difficult to conduct criminal activity.

Appearance

With periwinkle skin and emerald green irises, Luci fancies himself a trilby style hat, which he has trimmed the sides of so that it fits between his swept back horns. He's wearing a set of boots that rise almost to his knees, making it easier to navigate the Labenda, and a burgundy coat draped over his leather armor.

Purpose

Lucius has been in Berleben since parting ways with Tryst long ago. Just over a month ago Tryst snuck into town with Pinky. The two stayed at his home for one night, then left early the next morning. He will note, she slipped out for an hour that night, saying she had business to tend to. Before they left she told Luci she needed him to give a key to Jack or Jewels if they ever came to town, and described the two of them. The key being: "Jade, amber, emerald, amethyst. Their name you cannot trust. Within their hand was a ruby. Their misdeed was their duty." Luci is just as confused as everyone else that this is supposed to be a 'key', but Tryst also said the lock it was for could be found by Chance.

The Petalled Page

Tryst broke in during her one night in Berleben. Borrowing a book on ciphers, allowing her to write a message for Jack, which she left at the Lillytop.

The Lilytop Inn

Owned and managed by a human man in his 60s named Chance. He has been resistant to selling his business to Finn Finnigan, who has begun to just wait for Chance to pass, as he's got more important things going on lately.
