Ravambar

Originally birthed in the moon planet of Bar, the Eldari (elves) lived and eventually fought among each other, in tribes, in an effort to monopolize the energy that seemed to permeate everything on the moon. This energy allowed the denizens of Bar to manipulate forces around and inside them, which is called Ingole (magical energy). Centuries of warfare forced technological/magical innovation amongst the tribes in an effort to maintain the edge that kept each tribe from being overtaken by any other. Three nations rose to prominence; Moriquendi (Drow), Oromandi (Wood), and the Tarquendi (High). These nations reached a stalemate in terms of weaponry and power leading to a Cold War. It is forgotten which nation fired first; however, the moon was irrevocably damaged from all the fallout and devastation. A small coalition formed amongst the three nations leading an effort to save what remained of the Eldari people from the planetary decay by inventing a method that would allow travel from the blight of Bar to the wild neighboring planet of Ravambar.
