Mirosis

"It's surprising to see so many people can gather in such an inhospitable environment, especially with how lively it is." -A traveler entering Mirosis during the Solaris Solstice.
Mirosis is the capital of Arion, and a hub for adventurers who wish to explore the mostly uncharted Wanderer Sands. Streets lined with limestone buildings surrounding an oasis that acts as the main water supply, leading to the central market place before the path breaks away, heading to the marble buildings where nobility can be found. At the very edge of the nobility neighborhood, a palace can be seen towering above all the others. Just like the Wanderer Sands, the city has various alleyways that leads to hidden shops, just like how there are secrets littering the desert.

The people of Mirosis

The vast majority of the population are Neophytes and Humans. However, there are a few Nekatas enjoying the harsh sun and dry air that this city provides.

Capital City's Monarchy

Under the gentle rule of the Arion Queen , this location is often seen as a haven for those who plan excursions into the desert. She makes her home here, granting as much resources needed in order to fund safe expeditions into the desert.

Places of Interest

Despite Mirosis residing in the Wandering Sands, the city has a few locations to accomodate adventurers. There's the typical blacksmith and market plaza, but there's a few extra hidden gems. The Watering Hole that stands near the waters of the oasis, a tavern with some beds for the weary explorer to rest their head. There's also the hidden Shifting Shades, a clothing shop specializing in special region exclusive outfits that can occasionally be seen at the palace.

Royal Palace

Home of the Royalty of the Arion kingdom. This is a highly decorated building among the sea of sand and limestone. Occastionally, nobility from other kingdoms, typically Barionna, are allowed to stay at the Royal Palace as guests.

Market Plaza

Stalls line the oasis, acting as a makeshift market plaza, where various gear, outfits, and region produce can be sold.

Shifting Shades

A specialty clothing store that custom makes special, region based outfits that best fit their customers. However, this is a hidden store and is considered an exclusive club with a password to join. Ran by an eccentric Nekata who takes pride in her work.

A Day to Celebrate!

Adventurers are normally seen in this city, preparing to set out on an expedition of some kind into the desert. However, the mysteries of the desert isn't the only thing this city has to offer. Every year, this city is home to Solaris Solstice, a festival celebrating the warmth that the sun provides throughout the world.
As a place where the sun is constantly seen, with very few rain, Mirosis is seen as a holy sight for the sun deity Solva. As such, every year during the middle of summer a massive celebration is held in the name of the sun. There are Yullin Pepper eating contests, a Mullan Melon Contest where competitors try making their best recipes using the mullan melon, various street performances, all ending with a large bonfire in the center, where Queen Viridian Cresent does a prayer in order to bless the nation of Arion for another prosperous year.   Note: Yullin Pepper is equivilant to our world's Carolina Reaper.
