Now that many have been vanquished, they tend to lurk in ruins, where they were locked away in order to keep them away from anyone who would fine them.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They do not need to eat, but they can consume flesh. They do not need to drink, although they have been witnessed feeding off of blood and molten metals. They do not need to breathe. They want for nothing.

Facial characteristics

Some intelligent Glooms seem to have humanoid facial characteristics, but they are all celestial, fiendish, or demonic in nature. Most look like wild, malformed beasts.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Widely dispersed throughout the continent of Kohlm, but typically in small numbers. Those who meet others always attempt to gather into hordes, and rarely act alone if they have allies.

Average Intelligence

Although animalistic, they are clearly intelligent beings, capable of coercing magic, reading geography and terrain for strategic advantages, with complex communication. They are rumoured to have a shared consciousness.

Those which have spoke only refer to themselves in the plural first person: We, Us, and Our. It seems whatever distinction they make between one-another matters little to them.
