Episode 7
General Summary
The group begins to clean up their gruesome massacre of The Baron and Baroness Pineguard. As they settle into their newly acquired estate for the night, a strange woman named Syndra intervenes, confronting Jack. As most of the group returned, she revealed herself as someone who knew of their deeds in the manor, and was prepared to resign them to a terrible fate. Eventually agreeing to the proposition laid out before them: find a stranger known as Oxton Carter, guide them on their quest, and then escort them back home. If they are unable to complete their quest, wait for further orders.
The group resigns to this fate, lest certain imprisonment seems to dwell on them, their new benefactor seeming to hold some sway upon the local and national guards. In time, the group attempts to sell some stolen heirlooms in Asteris, but are quickly recognized for their misdeeds, and flee.
Returning to the start of their adventure in Lavant, the group reconvenes for their planned meeting with those collected for the circus. With those collected, they intend to travel to the capital to further solidify their circus plans before traveling west to the Holy Empire on the guidance of their strange new benefactors, who seem to have agents throughout the country. Finalizing the plans for the soon-to-be circus, the party retires, new goals on their minds.
