Episode 5
General Summary
In the capital of Odessa, the party takes a moment to spend their new found riches on some of the finest goods that pique their interests after their close call at the end of their first adventure together. Jack and Maul do their best to haggle for a extremely rare hammer, and when their attempts fail, do their best to purloin it away, although they are deeply unsuccessful in their efforts. Crow and Garroth barter for some magical items to enhance their capabilities. Soon thereafter, Crow has a beautiful ring constructed for reasons unknown at a famous jeweler, while Garroth researches the strange, magical fire that they accidentally uncovered deep below Lock's Haven.
Having accomplished their goals in the capital, the group vowed to head south once more, with curiosity in their soul to explore Asteris, said to be the hometown of Crow. Before leaving Odessa, Crow is given a warning that he will return at some point to slay a man he encountered on the street. Who, where, and when, that will be determined later; the thread of the Raven Queen is not yet to be clipped.
Entering Asteris, with Crow in disguise as a woman, the group explores. It is learned Crow has a sorted past with the town, as he is apparently related to nobility, and is also responsible for a murder. In investigating with some of the locals, they do their best to gauge the reactions of people to Crow. It is then that he sees his family, walking through the market...
