Invitation

General Summary

Still busy in the capital, the group continued their business in the heart of Odessa. After visiting the local shops more - including a relaxing sauna visit including Korva and Garroth and Maul procuring a small pseudo-dragon - revelry was had with celebrations and drinking contests at the local tavern. Through the heated exchange, Garroth succeeded in besting his friends and winning the bets against the tavern folk, for the price of a viscous hangover.
Korva took the rest of his day to seek out his hunt for the Raven Queen. Stalking a young couple throughout the city, he was targeting a young woman who the Raven Queen deemed to be plucked away. After trailing them to her home, Korva snuck invisibly into the building, stabbed her in cold blood, and vanished once more, leaving the young man to weep over his dead lover. Meanwhile, late into the night, Jack lurked into the dark alleys near the the blacksmith that had spurned him many weeks before. In an intrepid venture into the building, he was able to find the safe containing the rare hammer, and was able to now successfully open it, taking away the rare hammer he had eyed for so long in order to gift upon Maul.
Garroth, however, had his own plans. Gathering Maul and Korva, the group used his teleportation ability to transport themselves to one of the unknown destinations in Garroth's repertoire. They found themselves in a small, abandoned shack, containing only a small chest with a variable amount of money and foodstuffs. Exploring beyond the cabin, they found themselves in a derelict town, vacant of all human life. They wandered the town for any sign of relevance, but whatever value this location held to Garroth's former self could not be understood. They found a small graveyard, where they located a name that struck Garroth as oddly familiar. But without further clues, they left unresolved.
When they had returned to the city, Garroth and Korva were spending their time together in the city when a voice called out to Korva. It was Ori, who immediately casted a fireball at them. Combat was had as the group slowly convened while trying to stop Ori's onslaught upon them, while he singularly attacked Korva, slicing at his own arm with a blade to enhance what strange magic powers he seemed to have. As the guards arrived, and Ori found himself overwhelmed, he quickly retreated from the area, escaping from Korva who desperately wanted nothing but for Ori to remain.
