Alexander
So it is written, that in an age of turmoil and strife, the true gods were born. As all reality fell to war and ruin the greatest of great, the eternal one of all eternity, Haumea, danced upon the skies once more. When Haumea saw the destruction and violence of the Realm of Rakuen, it is said that she cried. When how Haumea cried out, The Eternals slashed out at Haumea, cutting her legs free. The Great Queen screamed in pain, and danced away.
Left behind were arms and legs, which took shape, quickly forming into the most true of all beings, those of Draconis: Bahamut, Tiamat, Adramalech, and Deidra. When all combat had ceased, the siblings bickered. Their mother gone, they had no guidance, no method to speak. And so they knew, that even though they trusted one another unerringly, their anger at each others independence would drive them mad. They sacrificed all a bit of their own for the greater good, for family. And thus, born out of the domains of true gods, came the truest and most righteous of all.
Alexander, the creation, the king of dragons, and the guide of the future, it is he - the greatest of all - who will one day lead all to glory in what realms lie far beyond that of our homes. Glory to his name!

Holidays
Festival of Lights: The Draconic gods are seen as being generally outside the realm of others gods, as the dragons themselves are creatures rather than traditionally ascended beings. And as the draconic gods are not bound to Rakuen itself, a week is given to all the gods.
The Festival of Lights is generally on the final two week of the year, culminating in the the Solar New Year, punctuated by various occasions throughout.
- The Advent: On the first day of the Festival of Lights, adherents begin a fasting for the day, and upon dinner time when their fast breaks, bring out a candelabrum. This is used for religious observance, where every night, prayers are said at the lighting of a candle for the passage of time. Eight candles are used as part of the candelabrum, with for representing the four legs of Haumea, and four representing the dragons Bahamut, Tiamat, Deidra, and Adramalech.
- Starlight: Generally throughout the proceedings of the Festival of Lights, decorations will be made throughout communities, including wreaths, decorative ribbons of red and green, and most importantly, candles, lanterns, and lamps. Starlight is the most popular event for decoration though, as it is usually a community event. In smaller communities, roadways and the doorways of houses are lined with candles, and families travel through the lights at night, singing various carols to one another as groups. Larger communities can get quite advanced with decorations, including more candles, stained glass for lamps to produce different colored lights, and large displays in public places.
- The Nativity: A day of worship for the god of all dragons, Alexander, who was created by the divine might of the other draconic gods. This day is generally celebrated as a day of family and gathering. It is largely somber and subdued, and meant to be a night spent with those that matter most to you. Traditions include the completion of the candelabrum, homecooked meals, games, and the sharing of beds between family.
- Noel: Noel is the day immediately after The Nativity, celebrating the birth and ascension of Alexander. This is a day of gift giving, and of appreciating those closest to you. Handcrafted gifts or personal gifts are most prominent, with items such as toys, clothing, and pottery, although silverware, glassware, and jewelry are also very popular gifts. The day emphasizes children in the morning, celebrating their youth, before devolving into raucous feasting and partying to celebrate adults. Large dinners late at night as well as various alcohols.
- Solar New Year: In the days after Noel, the celebrations do not stop. The day after Noel is a public day of feast. There is usually a religious parade featuring small statues of the draconic gods, with emphasis to Alexander, followed by a community feast where everyone shares. Afterwards, partying is encouraged throughout, and no business is allowed to be conducted. Heavy drinking throughout the day was a particularly popular activity. Another was the election of the Dragon King, where each family would elect someone else in their family to be head of household, usually someone of lower status such as a child or slave, who would be allowed to order others around within reason. The event concluded with a celebration on New Years at around midnight, where the community would count down the last day of the year in unison.

Personal history
Alexander is the God of Dragons, and leader of the Draconic Gods. Calm, straightforward, patient, and self-assured, Alexander is praised for his openness, acceptance, and liberal views upon the universe and Rakuen as a whole. From the perspective of mortals, he is a mortal paragon, one who represents neither the evils of the living, but also in acceptance that foolishness lies in all extremes. From a perspective of gods, he is seen either as a bulwark against those who seek more than their mortal coil, while also sometimes being seen as an impediment for progress due to his cautious nature. Regardless of the other god's opinions on Alexander, challenge toward him is effectively impossible, as he is allied with all of his sibling Draconic gods, who will defend him unerringly.
Alexander is worshipped primarily by Dwarves and Dragonborn. But Alexander is an extremely popular god, reaching out across races and societies. Elves and gnomes hail him for his patience and moral virtue, Humans and Halflings praise his creation myth, and Tieflings and Orcs value his stability, among many more. From a religious perspective, it is believed that Alexander is charged with determining who is allowed to ascend into godhood. Those seeking ascendancy or who wish to reach apotheosis will, sooner or later, find themselves in confrontation with one of the most powerful gods in the realm, and will have to prove their worth.
