Climate

Gilum is the north east country. Most of its southern edge is covered by a massive mountain range. The country is known for having the coldest temperatures and strongest gusts of winds in the world, making most of it uninhabitable.

History

Age of Stars (8,000 Years Ago)

A Tower of Light was built at the highest point in the mountains by Lu Sa after The Moon's Fall. Many people in the area believed the tower saved them from almost certain death and a great deal of gratitude was given to Lu Sa.

Age of First Men (6,000 Years Ago)

Although the unforgiving cold temperatures and weather caused life to be harder, it remained the most populated area for Kitka and Wolka until the First Civilization rose and fell. The natural border of the mountain range provided privacy and shelter, and the height gave them an advantage against enemies. The Tower of Light, being at its brightest in the mountains, also helped a great deal against enemies.

The Present Day

The Tower of Light remains standing at the highest point in the mountains to this day. Tiny settlements and isolated communities are sparse and scattered.
