This decisive moment caused terror to reing in the hearts of those who called themselves god upon Nox, while bringing forth a long dead hope int the heart of the lesser species. Weilding the power to shift the very stars and rewrite a person's fate, they served The One God's justice.

The Veilian currency is called Clouds. It is a special kind of pearl forged from the blood of Ancients and fused with the stellar magic that is inherent only to Celstial Beings. The pearl earns its name as clouds for the pearls look like they have clouds trapped within them when they are cleansed through stellar magic.

As the Celestial War came to an end, these crystals could be found almost in any corner of Nox. However, as pretty and infused with blood as they were, they remained useless as currency without the cleansing touch of a Celestial. The pearls can also be considered cursed unless they have been cleansed, for bad things have been reported to those who carry the bloody pearls.

History

"Following the defeat of the Ancients, Queen Hoshizuki gathered what was left ofthe beings in Nox and buitl the Veilian Stronghold,

History tells how, after the Ancients had been defeated in a long and bloody war, Hoshizuki had gathered the remaining beings scattered throughout Nox and built the Veilian Stronghold in the Central Plains (now known as the Ancient Burial Grounds ). It was when she married a Human Knight, going by the name of Tsukino Kiriyuu, that the Celestial Dynasty came to be under the Kiriyuu name (As a Fallen Star, Hoshizuki had no surname of her own and was more than happy to build this new era under her Husbands name). Their reign was one of unity and prosperity, of expansion and survival. The Empire expanded from the central plains to the eastern borders of the known world, even expanding towards the western straits and opening trade with the southern continent Tribes.

The Central Plains was officially named as the Capital City.

Year 1000 B.D.

After a 100 years of trying, Queen Hoshizuki gave birth to two twin Prince's. Miraculously, one boy had fully Celestial blood while the othe boy was fully Human. and as bothe prince's grew up, it was very apparent that Prince Tsukino was the only one blessed with his mothers affinity to stellar magic and was thereby named the crown prince. Meanwhile Prince Yudai, inheriting his fathers talent for weilding the sword was given the duty as protector of the Crown Prince (and later King).

Meanwhile a new threat rises in the eastern borders of Nox. A veil is torn open at the ends of the known world, spilling demons into Nox from the wastelands

In their pursuit to aid the small port town that the Demon's plague, the prince's meet an Ancient names Esme. They team up with her to find a way fix the tear in the veil while simultaniously keeping the Demons at bay. In this unexpected comraderie that Esme learns of what has become of her brethren while she had been protecting Nox from destrustion. Learning that she no longer has a pace in this world, despite Tsukino and Yudai's instance that things could change, she uses the essence of her life as a barrier to seal the tear in the veil

With her dying breath, Esme placed a curse on the Kiriyuu's.

'Every twin that is born, one will devour the other.'

Though Esme's sacrifice sealed the tear in the veil, it isn't the perfect solution nor was it done with a pure heart. Realising the grave need to keep the Demon Invasion from fully breaking through, Tsukino moves the capitol from the central plains to the Eastern Borders. In honor of the Ancient that sacrificed herself to protect Nox, he names the new Capital after her, Esmengard

Year 10,000 B.D.

During the Reing of Princess Sieun, famously known throughout History as the Starlight of Nox for her otherworldly beauty, only the Eastern continent remained under the Celestial Dynasty. Rejecting a proposal for marriage with King Garrowen of Farthen starts a 100 year war, in which most of their land and people is lost, leaving only the Capital city standing by the end of the war.
