Quazi

The island of Quazi is northwest of the main continent Faerun and is owned by a man with the same name and who discovered its existence. It's a diverse and sizable land for an island. Some call it a "Super-Island". The terrain has anything from swamps and marshes to cold frozen mountains and even a small desert. Mostly home to regular societies and cultures, including a band of elves and half-elf people, but many outcasts and criminals have fled to remote areas of the island to remain sheltered from the rest of the world.   Travelers do trade with the main southern half of the island as their are some riches and goods that are quite profitable. That's one of the many reasons why population has flourished as of late. A newly discovered gem called the Dewdrop gem has become popular in the area and in neighboring continents. The Dewdrop is a hard, cool and greenish colored gem that is always cold to the touch and aesthetically pleasing.   New adventurers sometimes wander over, by boat of course, or are tasked with a quest that embellish some high notion of heroism and honor. But what waits deep down beneath some of the land, mischief, and deceit, is the more appealing promise of adventure and good tales to weave.
