You are in the 8th age of this world, some of the Old Gods are still about, and secret chaos rules the land. 500 years ago, at the end of the 7th age, there was a Great War, with Humans, Elves, and other human-esque folk on one side, magic folk on another, and K'or, one of the Old gods on another side. The land was split up into various Kingdoms, and The Wilds, areas where magic folk and other races were allowed to roam free and exist in magic villages and towns across the land.
