Centuries ago when the great battle in the south raged, Shyneria (former capital of Humans) was attacked while the armies were away. The strength of the Humans was not enough to retake the city after losing so many. Since then, Orcs have bolstered themselves into a formidable force and have ruined the city so that it is no longer worth retaking
