Kurtulmak and the Underdark

The Ancient Silver Dragon Kurtulmak rules the Underdark. Entrance is in the Cave of Hodrim. Has a plan to bring the Underdark to the Normal Realm by binding the Ley Lines. 5 in total, each with a pool surrounded by 5 pillars. The pool is ridiculously deep:

• Wolfpine Forest has a tower and underneath is a network of tunnels that lead to a cavern where there is the pool.

• Inside the Temple of Locan in the Hidden Vale is another pool

• A huge totem pole, Spirit of X’ang, lies at the entrance to a catacomb and at its heart is the pool

• At the centre of the Pyramid of Xym there is a pool

• Inside the Cave of Hodrim there is a pool that is already bound.

The water turns completely black when bound to the Underdark. A special ritual is needed whereupon a potion of the blood of kurtulmak is poured in and blackens the pool
