Underground Merchant Facility

Underground Merchant Facility is an underground trench of Stella Flores Cibum that seeks to be part of the business of buying and selling Rosea Testudines. It was created in the year three thousand five hundred twenty-six by two Stella Flos Cibum named Russel and Claudio. It is located on Lava Lapis Mons and is built under the extinct volcano of the island. This trench is governed by the Three Constitution of Underground Merchant Facility. It has a very small population due to the difficulty of expanding the facilities without destabilizing the structure of the volcano, and to regulate the population, the Stella Flores Cibum systematically eliminate Rosea Testudines in secret.

Demographics

The population of Underground Merchant Facility is comprised of sixty percent by Rosea Testudines and forty percent by Stella Flos Cibum.

Government

There is no specific authority leading the Underground Merchant Facility, instead, the highest ranking Stella Flos Cibums are in charge of organizing their respective castes and only meet in cases that have to carry out extremist methods in terms of control of the population of the Rosea Testudines. The Rosea Testudines have no form of political participation because they are not aware of the differences between a Rosea Testudo and a Stella Flos Cibum, which is why they are dedicated to follow unquestionable orders from their Stella Flos Cibum Caretakers. In order to coexist with the Rosea Testudines in the best way posible, the Stella Flos Cibum are governed by "The Three Constitution of Underground Merchant Facility", which are three books that establish the laws, obligations and commercial procedures that all Stella Flores Cibum must follow when interacting with a Rosea Testudo. These books are unchangeable and irreplaceable, no matter what the caste of Stella Flos Cibum wants to change them, they will only be allowed to create a fourth constitution under guidelines that doesn´t directly contradict the rules proposed in the original three constitutions, something that is not yet It has been made. Any Stella Flos Cibums that dares to break any of the guidelines of these books will be executed with the Crusta Compress. These books are: * Rosea Testudines Iura: During the time he was taking care of the original Rosea Testudo, Mote learned about the basic needs of the Rosea Testudines and how he had to take care of them, for which he decided to write a book using his knowledge, a book named the "Rosea Testudines Iura" (Rosea Testudines Rights). By writing this book, Mole wanted to ensure that his two offspring didn´t neglect the next generation of Rosea Testudines by writing advises about how they should provide the Rosea Testudines with food, respect for their personal integrity, a good hygiene and basic Latin education. * Homo Lumbricidae Economic Precium: After researching the development and biological structure of the Rosea Testudines, Russel wrote the "Homo Lumbricidae Economic Precium" (Economic Value of Homo Lumbricidae), a book in which he explained the different parts and organs of The Rosea Testudines and about how and to who they should sell those parts in order to get the highest possible profit. In the book, Russel establishes the obligation to maintain economic relations between human beings and the Stella Flos Cibum at any cost, since humans are the only ones in the world that can afford armor made with the exoskeletons of the Rosea Testudines, plus the fact that human beings are the species with the highest food consumption rate in the world, contributing with most of the Stella Flos Cibums´ profits of the sale of Viridi Coccymelum, Fuchsia Gingiberi and Fragum Aurantiaco. * Rosea Testudines Moderari Hominum: After observing the behavior of the Rosea Testudines and making them work in the plantations of Mole, Claudio published the "Rosea Testudines Moderari Hominum" (Rosea Testudines Population Control), a book that teaches how to deceive the Rosea Testudines into trusting and working for you. In addition, Claudio predicted in this book that the Rosea Testudines were going to overpopulate the trenches, so he devised a plan to eliminate one Rosea Testudo in each litter during every phase so at the end there would be only one Rosea Testudo Vis left in order to maintain the population of Rosea Testudines in a specific amount.

Industry & Trade

The economy of the Underground Merchant Facility depends almost exclusively on the traiding of resources, since they don´t have enough resources to manufacture a great variety of products on their own despite having enough resources to survive; this encourages the Underground Merchant Facility to obtain more and more influence and power over the international market through the exploitation of its few agricultural industries. Their earnings derived from the exportation of resources are composed of forty-seven percent sales of Rosea Testudines ´s exoskeleton as armors, an eight percent of sales of Rosea Testudines to nature reserves or collectors of exotic animals, seven percent of sales of Rosea Testudines meat, a fifteen percent of sales of Viridi Coccymelum, a nine percent of sales of Fragum Aurantiaco, a six percent of sales of Fuchsia Gingiberi, a three percent of sales of paints made with the fruits they grow, a two percent sales of of tea made with the leaves of the plants they produce, and a one percent of sales of crafts made by the Rosea Testudines. In addition, eighty percent of the annual profits of the Underground Merchant Facility are due to negotiations with humans, a fact that motivates the Stella Flos Cibum to maintain international relations with human beings. As for import costs, the Underground Merchant Facility uses fifty percent of its profits to increase their budget to manufacture a Crusta Comprimens, twenty percent to buy purified water, fifteen percent to buy old computers and create advertisements to recruit new permanent residents, and five percent to buy supplies to write down researches, write books or make clothes.

History

In the year three thousand five hundred twenty-six, a Stella Flos Cibum collector named Mole was on the recent ruins of the partially flooded island known as Inquisicio Ex Gemma, and while he was exploring the island's coasts, he found a sphere of considerable size that contained inside what looked to be a turtle. After waiting an hour for the creature inside the sphere to show signs of life, Mole concluded that it was a fossilized egg that the ancient inhabitants of the Inquisicio Ex Gemma kept as a relic, so he took it to his home in Lava Lapis Mons. Mole kept living a normal life until the egg hatched, giving birth to the first Rosea Testudo documented by a Stella Flos Cibum, and fascinated with the idea of having a living relic, Mote decided to take care of it with his sons Russel and Claudio. Unfortunately, the original Rosea Testudo died at the age of thirty after giving birth to five eggs; in a state of deep sadness, Mole planned to sleep during sixty years and left in charge his two sons of the second generation of Rosea Testudines, which were still in their Vīlla phase. After making an agreement, both sons agreed that Russel would keep two Vīllae and the corpse of the original to carry out a scientific investigation, while Claudio would keep three Vīllae to use their help in order to be able to take care of Mole's crops. Russel conducted experiments with his Vīllae, one dissecting it in its Vīlla phase, and he let the other develop into its Vīcus phase so he could kill it and exanimate it; as for the body of the original Rosea Testudo, he used it to investigate the value that the Rosea Testudines could have in the market, and discovered that both the exoskeleton and the meat of this species have a great economic value. On the other hand, Claudio discovered that the Rosea Testudines could cut wood and stems with their fingers, that they considered difficult activities such as construction and education as fun activities, and that they trusted him more if he touched them using a synthetic leather glove similar to their skin; in addition, he designed a plan to control the population of this species. Both brothers realized that they could benefit economically through the work and sale of the Rosea Testudines, so they made the decision to kill Mole while he was still on his sleep in order to found the Underground Merchant Facility.
