The universe in which revolves the storylines of the Essence and the Flux.   Murgat and Wolbert were quintessential beings. Their existence transcended time whilst they discovered their power to create whitin the boundaries of the reality they knew. "Siblings" of sorts, their powers came to be opposing forces. The Essence of Murgat and the Flux of Wolbert would generate conflict as they contacted one another. Creation's flow went through a period of undisturbed isolation in which both created their own worlds, saddened by their distance. However, intrigue afflicted Wolbert, as a spark of doubt crossed their mind. As it came to be, the Storyteller planted such seed of doubt, which led to Wolbert suspecting Murgat for hiding some sort of secret, which would lead to the forging of conflict between their forces. Intrigue arose and conflict escalated to the point were both siblings engaged in megalithic combat, their fight laying waste to all creation as it was made. Mountains razed to the ground, whereas deep valleys were flooded by rubble. Seas boiled away as the skies were ripped apart alike a sheet of paper. Stars rained from the skies and back unto the void of night, falling upon the moon and carving it with craters. Their fury waged on as the envy which corrupted Wolbert's mind was also slowly creeping in towards Murgat. After millenia, they turned to their creation, seeking to use it as a weapons. Amidst the clash of earth and water, a tree was born. Life was created and the Primordial rose as the first living being. And so they understood that their energies, though conflituous, could work complimentarily if channelled through matter. That being, Murgat and Wolbert unmade themselves, spreading their energies through the world they created and reshaped as to create life, bringing forth the beings that would inhabit it. The envy that corrupted Wolbert was shunned away to a deep dark valley, where it would not affect the rest of their creation, however, it's affinity to the Flux would render it a matter of attraction to most of the energies of Wolbert, gathering it's dispersion unto itself and birthing the Dark Lord, ravaged by despair, envy and pain due to it's unstable existence birthed by nearly omnipotent power.
