General Physical Condition

Kariya is fairly strong for her size, and quite agile due to her short stature when compared to others of her race. She is slender, her body is overall narrower than the average person's, causing her to look unnaturally thin. She is unable to produce a voice due to a severe infection in her throat that she contracted at a young age, requiring her to lean on her telepathy, or to whisper.

Special abilities

Kariya is a Born Immortal with the capability for telepathy and empathy to such a degree that she can share her sensory experience with another, and vice versa. She used these abilities to communicate despite her muteness, but lost this capability after a freak accident in a combat environment.

Early Life

Kariya was born to a well-off family in the year AC1162, to Ojor and Naji Denidariaej.
At the age of three, she suffered a severe infection in her throat, leaving her unable to produce a voice with which to speak Ebenish and Dorojite at any volume above a harsh whisper.
At the age of six, the Dendarin Revolution occurred. Rich, wasteful families were rounded up in the streets and executed alongside the inefficient senate of the nation. She was released out of a back entrance in her family's home, told only to run, and never tell anyone where she was from or who she was. This experience likely led to her selective muteness.
After being discovered foraging for food in an alleyway sometime later, she was placed into an orphanage where she would be schooled and exposed to propaganda, becoming patriotic, and loyal to the nation's figurehead, Amelia Kohen. Her immortal abilities would manifest themselves at the age of twelve, learning to communicate with her mind rather than gestures. Sara Valchen would take note of this, and note her for recruitment into the military.
She would accept her leased infantry rifle and begin her rifleman's training at the minimum age of 16.

Military Service

Her rank would rise quickly as she used her immense telepathic power, becoming corporal of fireteam 2, 4, and 6 of the fourth section of the Third Immortal Company by the beginning of AC1181. As the Dendarin Expansion Conflicts began, a draftee by the name of Josephine Hart entered her command to replace a lost member of the team. Their great degree of compatibility caused Kariya to lessen the degree of cruelty she treated her subordinates with as they became more romantically involved.

She would come to be the When placed into Fireteam 2, Section 4 of the Third Immortal Company, she found her soul compatible with her nearest commanding officer, then Senior Rifleman Josephine Hart, who would assist her in her mobility training. They would end up realizing a mutual attraction between them and become romantically involved.
Fireteam 2 would prove to be one of the most skillful fireteams in the Third Immortal Company, ending up on the front lines of an attempted "nonviolent invasion" at the hands of New Dendarin against Ebenland. The first mission resulted in success, but with heavy injury and disfigurement of nearly every member of the fireteam.
Due to a deep connection with Josephine that was active at the time her arm was severed, Kariya suffered extreme trauma to the psyche, and her telepathic ability was all but lost. She was put on leave until further notice until this issue could be resolved.

Education

She achieved a level of schooling roughly equivalent to that of a high school sophomore at her orphanage before moving to the New Dendarin Military Academy in the year AC1178.
She would receive marksmanship training at the academy, as well as further refinement of her knowledge, until she was placed into active service.
