Warp Drive
Warp drive (or Shiroff’s engine) is the most widely used supraluminic propulsion medium in the Galaxy.
Inspired by Alcubierre’s metric and the Star Trek's universe warp engine, Shiroff's engine achieves supraluminic velocities through the manipulation of the space-time structure.
The operation of the engine is ensured by the annihilation of matter and antimatter, reaction channeled using massive doses of Unobtanium.
This synthetic material being relatively expensive, an alternative called Shiroff-Daeleth engine, combining magic and technology, has been put in place.
This technology, less expensive in energy and in technological resources, but expensive in mana, relies on the use of high-level energy invocations to replace all or part of the technological catalyst.
