Empress Sanjia Rana Velod (a.k.a. Sanjia I.)
Sanjia Rana Velod was the first Empress of Velodan Empire. After the Velodan War ended with a victory for kingdom of tronasyl, her father proclaimed the Empire of Velodan and prompted her coronation. He should not regret his decision because his daughter proved to be a wise and gracious ruler.

As a child she went to the Royal Academy in Meryn. Afterwards she attended a combat training camp in order to fight in the Velod war.
Employment
After her combat training Sanjia joined her fathers troops. First as a blade sister, later she became an Non Commissioned Officer and adviser to Velan Velod. After many fights she was promoted to Legate.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Sanjia was an excellent swordsman that even her father and his generals were impressed. Not only her fighting skills were well regarded but her tactical skills as well. Because of that she was promoted to Legate.
Failures & Embarrassments
Even if she was one of the best tactician in the Tronan Army, Sanjia misjudged the conquest of Nurcath, A small village on the border to Nival. She had not expected that the nivalis troops hid not only in the surrounding woods, but also in pits around the village itself. Before the imperial troops knew what they were doing, they were surrounded and a terrible slaughter began. They were forced into the village where archers hid on the rooftops. Only with great difficulty could Sanjia, then a legate, beat a breach through the enemy army and rush to support the encircled soldiers. During this venture she lost a finger on her left hand.
