Elurin

Elurin the Wise / The Oracle

Pronunciation: el-OO-rin
Portfolio: Secrets, Knowledge   Allies: Not yet revealed.   Enemies: Not yet revealed.   Appearance: Elurin is often described as having a softness to their overall appearance; yet, there's a certain sharp lethality that lies underneath - a reminder of their divine nature. Often standing tall with a regal elegance, they're typically dressed in golden robes with dark forest green loose shirt and pants that are said to flow and sway with every commanding movement. Most images of them contain golden runes in lost and ancient texts scattered across their bronzed skin, reminiscent of the glow of dawn and eyes as bright as the sea themselves.

Holy Books & Codes

Those who prove themselves worthy after a series of tests, called The Trials, are finally allowed to learn the secrets of Elurin's teachings. Those who are lucky enough are able to read the Book of the Kaltar.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Elurin's symbol is a trio of lines wrapped around like a vine and tied off at the end in a circular knot. Those who worship Elurin call it the Kaltar - otherwise known as the "Lifestrand".

Tenets of Faith

  • Under Elurin's name, we shall not reveal the secrets of the Kaltar, lest we wish death upon us and our bloodline.
  • Under Elurin's name, we shall seek knowledge wherever we travel and find the truth among the masses.
  • Under Elurin's name, we shall always continue to progress, even in the name of failure.

Holidays

Rasalta - With it being one of the holiest days to the followers of Elurin, it is a celebration of achievement and knowledge. To most communities, it is often celebrated for two days. On this day, many come and bring their designs that they have been working on - no matter how big or small - and set up markets for trade.
