Professor Jostand's School of Heroism

The multiverse is unstable.   Countless realities have already collapsed in on one another. Beings that never should have met are now in a struggle against one another for resources.   Had Varitan Jostand's World had never Collapsed, he may never have discovered his ability to walk between the Worlds, or learned that the events that trigger a collapse are often small moments with large implications.   Moments where some essential internal balance shifted to the point it could never, ever be set right again.   Moments where the World lost all Hope.   With the help of several other powerful, yet Displaced sorcerers, Jostand created a pocket dimension capable of expanding to meet the needs of the occupants. It was made to easily transport people in and out, in any volume. A World between Worlds, capable of being a Haven for the Displaced, and a base of operations for the Heroes, agents who are willing to do whatever it took to prevent other Worlds from Collapsing.   As the World between Worlds continued to grow, the need to train more Agents became apparent. Worlds were scoured for those who the Scouts identified as pivotal individuals, capable of inspiring enough Hope to save a World, given the right push. They were brought to the World Between Worlds, and given the training and resources needed to preserve and inspire Hope in worlds that needed it most. Three centuries ago, these individuals became the first graduating class of Professor Jostand's School of Heroism.
