Warriors of The Faith

To be a Knight of the Order of the Mother is to dedicate your life in service to spreading the word of the Andryte faith. When a Brother or Sister of the faith becomes ten years old, the High Clerics decide whether or not they shall become squires of the Order or become a part of the clergy. It is no secret that many of the troublemakers amongst the Brothers and Sisters are often sent off to the Order.

The knights all wear crowns of flowers over their suits of dark blue plate armor to show their connection to Andrytus. Their tasks vary from protecting domains to fighting in armed conflicts and wars. They often wield large swords and are trained in the art of combat by their masters.

Violent Killers

The order's purpose is to protect the clergy and spread the faith. While the rich and powerful benefit from their protection, the peasantry are often victims of their cruelty. Common folk of the High Plains have frequently requested that the knights stay away from their properties and villages, as they continually challenge them to fights they cannot win. Worse yet, they have been known to raze villages out of anger and spite. A century ago, the high clerics had heard enough about the consistent reports of murder, assault, and theft by the hands of the Order. To keep their lust for war sated, they began sending the knights on scouting expeditions of other countries far away.
