Flora

Disappeared when: Located: Hither; guide Shadow lost in Yon   A pink tiefling flower seller in Neverwinter, Flora took a shine to Luinil first because of her flower tattoo, handing her a free flower that matched. A friendship and eventually a romance blossomed between the two as Flora helped the recently-arrived ranger navigate this new terrain, with Flora's pet name for Luinil always being 'her wildflower'.   Always aware of the deep ache in Luinil of something that could never truly heal, Flora felt they could never truly take their relationship further or plan for the future until Luinil could heal from the past. Intrigued by the puzzle of what could make a person 'lose' something as intangible as the ability to connect with nature, Flora started her own quiet investigation into the conundrum. Eventually, after asking enough people, she was referred to increasingly shady individuals until one cloaked individual in a sketchy tavern refered her to a recluse wisewoman in the swamp who was known to have an affinity for nature. Thinking she was going to meet a druid, Flora snuck out and met the old wisewoman. The woman said she did indeed know the ways of nature, and could teach Flora if she would agree to aid her for a year and a day. A year was more than worth it to see her love restored, so Flora agreed; not realizing she dealt with a hag, and they were not speaking of this swamp or even this measurement of time.   All became abruplty apprent once she was in Bavlorna's cottage, where she was assigned the duty of tending to Bavlorna's mushroom and moss garden surrounding the pools and keeping the home tidy. Bavlorna did hold up her end of the bargain, teaching Flora rudimentary druidic magic, but time is elastic and Bavlorna was a slob, her home a fairly misrible place to tidy. The night of a particularly rocous revolution in Downfall, Flora made her escape, using the advice and stories she'd picked up from Luinil supplimented by the druidic magics Bavlorna had taught her to run away.   She made it all the way to Thither before the Ruethorns caught her, snipping her shadow to sell to Endylin and ransoming her back to Bavlorna, who locked her in the cage in the kitchens as retribution. She has languished there for... days? weeks? long enough to get sick of surviving on mushroom-flavored goodberries. Her one saving grace has been that Bavlorna once commented Tieflings were too spicy for her sensitive digestion, so she's fairly certain she is the 'reserve larder'.
