Volcanic

Scorched rock, rivers of molten lava, and ash rains from the sky, and poisonous gases rise from below. A truly hellish experience, but, life exists here also.   One of Primordia's more tame, and unique biomes, but just as dangerous. The "Volcanic," or "Hadean" biome, is an area completely dominated by erupting volcanos, and lava.   There doesn't seem to be any indication of time passing in this area, aside from animal migrations, where they require a form of incubator for their eggs, or, predators that know young sauropods may be in the area.

Geography

Black, scorched, jagged rocks, piles of ash, soot sand, and massive volcanic cones that fill out the area, with an indomitable volcano as a near divine centerpiece. There is hardly any vegetation in the area, and the only plants that can survive are hardy, such as cacti.

Ecosystem

Rivers, and lakes of lava, creating noxious gasses, extreme heat, and ash storms are frequent in the Volcanic biome, which has earned it's nickname, "The Hadean." Very few creatures, namely Isisaurus, and Rajasaurus are ones brave enough to venture into this zone, as they hailed from similar biomes on Earth, namely Cretaceous Period India.

Ecosystem Cycles

The only possible way to indicate any passage of time in this zone aside from watching the sun, is that Isisaurus will come here to lay their eggs inside of dried up lava lake beds, using the warm ash provided by the erupting volcanos. Once the hatchling sauropodlets spend 11 to 85 days incubating, they will hatch, and quickly leave the biome.

Localized Phenomena

Ash storms, and acid rain are known to happen in the area, and if an earthquake occurs, the volcanic badlands are completely inhospitable, and death within the biome is a certainty.

Climate

Hot, ashy, dry.
