Plains

Beautiful, rolling hills of grass. A home to dinosaurs as well as ice-age megafauna, many hebivorous animals may be found grazing on the bounty of green grass, and flowering plants that accompany the ocean of rolling hills as far as the eye can see.
Much like it's Tundra cousin, Rolling Plains are wide, windy, and expansive, so wide that at times tornados can appear here, due to the lack of mountains that break up the wind. As winds from the blazing north, and the frigid south collide, it creates a destructive, and awe-inspiring tornado that can be seen from the heavens, and will carry off any unfortunate creature caught in it's destructive path.
Seek refuge when you can, as these tornados, albeit infrequent, are the bane of the beautiful fields of green...
