Princess Calannra Aeltherion
Calannra Allari Aeltherian is a Princess and the current Heir Apparent of the Aeltherian Empire. Due to her young age and the unusual circumstances leading to her journey away from home, she often seems to lack the same graceful refinement or casual elegance the rest of her Elven kin from the Grand Plateau are renowned for. Indeed those who do not recognize her may find the appearance of a young elf away from her family and homeland odd and unsettling. As even among the reclusive Elves of the Grand Plateau, rarer still are thier children ever seen.
Extremely young for an elf at only 27 years old, she stands at a mere 5'7" and slight of build similar to most of her kin. Though Blonde as an infant, her role as the Oracle of Desna has infused her hair with a soft silver sheen, though if looking close enough streaks of blonde may still be observed. As with her hair, her eyes have changed to a vibrant violet hue as well, though only when channeling extreme amounts of divine energy, at rest they return to their natural yellow green.
Calannra often comes off as prideful or rude to those around her. Her immense curiosity coupled with her impulsivity often cause her to make spur of the moment decisions without considering the consequences. Like her mother, Calannra's greatest desire is to see her people prosper. She wishes to be as beloved by her people as her mother, the most renowned Elven Queen in living memory, and often struggles to step out from her shadow. However unlike her Mothers humility which has served to bolster their alliances forged around the world, it is her fathers brash and prideful nature Calannra often seeks to emulate. While just as renowned as his wife and queen, Aeltherion's king earned his reputation as a fearsome warrior and commander in numerous battles fought throughout the century.
To those who take the princess at face value she may seem like nothing more than any other spoiled royal. However those who have deigned to understand her may have realized that her feigned arrogance and pride is nothing but youthful admiration and emulation of her father, and her impulsivity and recklessness are only due to her inability to sit idle while people need help much like her mother, despite lacking much of the queens diplomacy and temperance.
Whether a flaw or a strength, Calannra's eyes are always forward ready to follow her instincts and whatever she believes to be the right thing to do.
