Arkanite

An old metal that was once found in the deep mountains on the plateaus and was sought after by all means of powerful beings due to it innate properties of being able to easily hold enchantments for long times. It was later discovered that this metal would actually take in shards of its owners divinity during their ascension and transform into a material all its own.
