Dave

Despite having a human name, Dave is not a person. Instead, "Dave" is a sentient eyeball currently owned by Pestle. He received it from Griffon in Session 12: Where's Tornac?. It is contained in a small metal amulet that resembles a steel ball on a chain. The ball has a visor which, when opened, reveals a glass sphere containing an eye floating in a mysterious liquid. According to the original owner, the eye had come in contact with the Far Realms at some point, which is where it gained its sentience.
Dave has a penchant for getting his owner to ask him questions. Dave can answer any question asked to him, including knowledge beyond that of even the gods. The questions are directed directly to the forms themselves, and thus while the response is always truthful it is often skewed or extreme. Additionally, anyone asking dave questions must pass difficult intelligence saves to avoid symptoms of insanity.
Dave was on Pestle's body when he died in Rainy Grove.   It turned up again in Session 15: Dave, having been found inside of Izar's Box.  Bosgosho stole it, and was seen shortly after drawing the word "Dave" on the walls in blood over and over, completely naked except for his hat.
