High Summer 3019, Day 26 - Riftforged Factory - Assembly Line

General Summary

The party, still in the metal dome in some unknown land, entered into a room within the riftforged factory with 27 inactive riftforged standing in upright beds, seemingly unmoving. The riftforged were unlike the party's companion, Millie. Unlike Millie who is large and built for strength, these riftforged were leaner, shorter. Vines have entangled some of the riftforged, holding them in place, wrapped around their legs and bodies. One riftforged lay on one of the moving shelves in the back, prepared to enter what appears to be some some sort of activation chamber where another riftforged lay. The activation chamber has four crystals, one in each corner of the room, aimed at the riftforged laying on the table. Cables attached the corner crystals to a workstation with an even larger crystal.   Weapons, answers, a holy site, or a bunch of trash were possibilities proposed by the party of what they are seeing.

  As the party investigates the area, Willumin sits down and divines what may happen if the party chooses to press the buttons on the main console with the large crystal.  
Woe

  Though they were told woe, the party still chose to have Millie activate the control panel. Millie pressed random buttons on the console, flipping switch, until suddenly the large crystal on the console lit up, activating some of the riftforged. Before all of the riftforged were activated, Millie instantly flicked the switch off, but not before seven of the riftforged come to life. Five of the riftforged were bound by the vines growing throughout the room, so they were unable to combat the party, unless they got close. The party was able finish off the two riftforged unbound by nature were loose, but not before taking a considerable amount of damage. The riftforged in the activation room seemed to be a particularly strong and lean build, not as damaged by the elements hidden in the protected corner room.   The party made sure that the five remaining riftforged, bound by vines, were securely in place while they tried to figure out what to do with them. Four of the riftforged were disposed of...while the last remaining riftforged the party decided to manacle and take back with them.   They party also extracted two of the gems used as a focus to activate the riftforged, unfortunately two of the gems were broken on attempt to remove from their arcane casing, but the party still kept the broken pieces.
